Zamp in the City

On November 16, 2006 a contingent from Massachusetts and two locals ventured to Queens, New York to visit a member of our family. The group was treated to the feast of feasts by Michael Zampitella. We received a King's welcome and a 10 course meal as we discussed our lineage. It's great to be a "Zampitella". Michael's restaurant is fabulous and it was a truly special occasion for all of us. Thank you Michael Michael spells his last name Zampitelli instead of Zampitella,. He claims that his father changed the spelling to "i" for some reason. He foldly remembers Ralph Zampitella from Waltham Massachusetts who often visited his family in his big car. Ralph was the son of Amato Zampitella and Amato was the son of Raffaele. We believe that Raffaele and Agostino were brothers and Agostino's son Michele is Michael's grandfather. Michael's brother Vincenzo is our primary contact in Italy.
