Her husband does not have much information on his father's family history. She is trying to find out what part of Italy Grandpop Andrew Mongelluzzo was from. Sherry Clark from Orrville, Ohio has been in contact with the Zampitella Family website. She is the daughter of Carmella Mongelluzzo and Ed York. Her grandparents came from Nusco and settled in Long Island, New York in the 1920's .Sherry has research on the descendants of Gabriele Mongelluzzo dating back to the 1700's in Nusco, Italy. Marietta (Zampitella) Mongelluzzo married Joseph Mongelluzzo in Philadelphia and they had 11 children Andrew, Joseph, Louis, Ralph, Emmitt, Tony, Michael, Margaret, Connie, Mary, and Frances (Fanny).

The ZampitellaFamily website has been contacted by Josephine Herninko (Mongelluzzo) daughter of Madeline & Andrew Mongelluzzo. we have also been contacted by Joseph Mongelluzzo. Joseph is the great grandson of Marrietta (Zampitella) Mongelluzzo. He lives in Wonder Lake, Illinois. Joseph's grandfather was Andrew Mongelluzzo and his grandmother was Madeline. Joseph is the son of Joseph Mongelluzzo Sr. who passed away last September. Joseph Mongelluzzo is a special agent for the US Treasury Department, he has three children Carolyn, Joseph, and Laura.
