Amato "Ralph" Zampitella was born in Nusco in 1879. He was the first son of Raffaele Zampitella and Carmela Maria Stefanina Prudente. Amato first married Marguerita and they had 2 children Ralph and Anna. The Zampitella Family website has recently had the good fortune to meet Sandra Manning Gosselin great granddaughter of Amato Zampitella. Her grandfather was Amato's first son Ralph Zampitella from Waltham, Massachusetts and her grandmother was Mamie. Her mother was Margaret Zampitella Manning and her father was John Manning. Sandra has 4 sisters Debbie, Joan, Dianne and Peggy. Her sisters all have 3 children.

Sandra's grandparents Ralph Zampitella and Mamie had a total of 16 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. The oldest great-grandchild, who is Sandra's son is 37. The youngest great grandchild is less than a year old. Ralph's daughters Millie and Stephanie are very close to Sandra. Sandra is full of energy and has agreed to help us get a reunion together. Paul Zampitella from Reading, Massachusetts recently contacted us via e-mail. Paul is the son of Ralph P. Zampitella Jr. who is the brother of Michael, Margaret (Sandra's mother), Millie, and Stephanie . Paul is Amato's great grandson. Amato's second marriage was to Maria Grazia D'Nucci. While living in Pennsylvania they had 6 children Anthony, Salvatore, Rose, Louis , Eleanor and Augustine aka Reds .

Salvatore married Gloria Faragalli together they had three children Michael, Michele, and Salvatore. We have recently been contacted by Michele Zampitella Pike the daughter of Salvatore and Gloria and she can be reached at mz@rpcg.net Michele and Donna Certo-Pierantozzi recently informed us that Eleanor Zampitella and her husband Romolo passed away. Eleanor and Romolo had two children

Amato's son Agostino "Reds" married Mary and had two children Robert and Lorraine. Robert married a woman by the name of Maryanne and has a son John. Lorraine married Mr. Ragnone and had three children Linda Molette-Jones, Mark Ragnone, and recentlydeceased Steven.

Anthony Zampitella's son Ralph has recently contacted us. Anthony was the first child of Amato and Maria Grazia. Ralph was named after his father's half brother in Massachusetts and he can be reached at rlzamp@aol.com Ralph's father Anthony had nine children Ralph, Joseph, Andrew, Nancy, Anthony, Michael, Rose, Eleanor, and Louie. Ralph's family consists of a daughter Denise and sons John, Kurt, and Keith. Denise has two daughters, Carolyn and Allison. Kurt has one son Stephen. All live in the Philadelphia area.

Rose Zampitella's grandson Anthony Pierantozzi III recently contacted the website. Rose Zampitella the daughter of Amato and Maria Grazia married Daniel Martin and together they had 4 children 3 girls and a son, Mary Ellen, Patricia Rose, and twins Nancy and Robert. Mary Ellen passed away but she had three daughters, Denise, Jeannie, and Mary Ellen. Patricia Rose had a son and a daughter. her son Anthony Pierantozzi III can be reached at a.pierantozzi@comcast.net. Nancy has three children Joseph, Stephen, and Allison and we have no information regarding Robert.

Last but not least Amato's son Louis's family has been in contact with the Zampitella Family website. Affectionately referred to as the "Zampman" Dennis Zampitella, son of Louis Zampitella and Maria Concetta DiCampli lives in Missouri. Dennis was born in Bryn Mawr PA in 1950 he has a younger sister Regina Zampitella who lives in San Diego California with her husband Mel Galli. Dennis has a daughter that lives in San Diego Califonia and her name is Dr. Christina Zampitella. Dr. Zampitella is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in a private practice www.integrativepsychservices.com She is also a Professor at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant University and the Associate Director of the Center for Integrative Psychology. Dennis Zampitella is married to Catherine McCann and in addition to Christina they have Danielle also the family remembers with a heavy heart their son and brother Damien who passed away at a young age.

Louis Zampitella was a plumbing contractor in Havertown PA. and maintained a close relationship with his brother Salvatore. Dennis Zampitella speaks fondly about growing up with his cousins Mike, Michele, and Sal on Prescott Road and Merrybrook Drive. Michele and Michael have contacted the Zampitella Family Website. Dennis Zampitella is an accomplished professional musician. He lives in Ballwin Missouri and performs regularly with his current band at www.clubcontagious.com .
